From January 19-April 27, 2021 THE AREA made its broadcast premiere on the PBS/WORLD Channel documentary film series America ReFramed. The broadcast was a co-presentation with Illinois Public Media’s Reel Midwest. It has been rebroadcast on PBS/WORLD several times, most recently in January 2025.
THE AREA streamed on the website of the architecture and planning organization MAS Context throughout November 2022.
